Vintage Anniversary pattern silver band glass sandwich server plate w/ handle

Vintage Anniversary pressed pattern glass sandwich plate (12 3/4" in diameter) with wide silver band, and center handle.

We aren't sure if the handle is original to the plate, it looks kind of like a mod 60s Kromex handle to us, and why gold tone on a silver trimmed plate? But this piece came to us just like this.

The glass is in excellent condition, though the silver plate has some tarnish. The handle has a little wear to the finish.
