Huge vintage 10" industrial variable resistor or potentiometer. This potentiometer is marked Hardwick-Hindle and is rated for 2 ohms, 19.36 amps and is insulated for 600 volts. It is marked with a US Patent number from 1954. It measures about 10" in diameter and 3.75" thick. We've been told that Hardwick-Hindle was the parent company of Ohmite.
This is in nice condition with some chipping to the raised ceramic letters on the resistor core.
