Pair vintage hand-carved ox horn figures, african birds, storks or egrets

1980s vintage handcarved horn statues from Africa, a pair of birds, 12 1/2" tall. One of these has a crack to the base, the other is missing one eye and has a small chip to the beak.

We like these, very early Banana Republic safari style! They are made from the horns of the farmed native cattle, it's nice to know that no part of a cow is ever wasted.
