Retro mid-century vintage tall ceramic bird statue, long necked egret

Tall figural ceramic bird,  mid-century vintage, a souvenir of Victoria, British Colombia. This is an egret, we think? It measures about 12" tall.

It's not marked with a maker's mark that we could find. There's a tiny fleabite chip to the beak, no other condition problems.
