Vintage red wool beret marked Anglo-Basque - England. This is small, measures 17 1/2" at the hat opening. It's perhaps for a schoolgirl, though we'd rather imagine an artist!
The color looks good without a lot of fading, but this does have a few small moth holes to the wool nap, inside and out.
